In the country, Ford dealers started accepting the booking for new Endeavor informally on a token amount of Rs 1 lakh last week. According to the latest reports, the Facelift model is now reaching the dealership before launching in the country. The change in the new model is expected to be limited to cosmetic upgrades.

Ford’s Endeavor Facelift offers new design headlamps with LED DRLs, a new front grill and a new fog lamp with silver clading on the lower half of the front bumper. This popular SUV will ride on the newly designed 20-inch alloy wheels. As for the interior, the new model will get premium upholstery with an electric sunroof, premium upholstery, parking sensor with a camera, power mirror, power seat and more. The vehicle will also be offered with push-button start / stop function and the infotainment system will be upgraded to Ford SYNC 3.
The Ford Endeavor Facelift will be available in two diesel engine options- 2.2-liters and 3.2-liter. 2.2-liter, four-cylinder engine generates 157bhp power and 385Nm peak torque, while the 3.2-liter, five-cylinder engine generates 196bhp and 470Nm. At present, both cars are available with six-speed dual clutch automatic transmission and with the new upgrade, small engines are expected to be introduced with optional manual transmission. On the other hand, the larger engine will continue to be offered with the AWD option. It is also estimated that low variants can be offered with a 2.0-liter 180bhp turbocharged diesel option.
