Husqvarna has revealed the Adventure Touring Concept – Norden 901 at EICMA 2019. While it uses KTM’s parallel-twin as its base, it gets its own different styling elements to set it apart. Norden’s feature list includes a full-color digital instrument console with smartphone connectivity, mounting points for panniers, high-mounted exhaust and finger guards. The single-piece seat and the tail section of the bike have also been given a facelift.
The Norden 901 Adventure is based on the new 890 Duke’s parallel-twin motor, which in its current state of tune produces 121PS and 99Nm. We could expect the company to tweak the motor to produce better low and mid-range performance.
The Husqvarna Norden 901 comes kitted with long travel USD forks and a mono-shock from WP, both of which are fully adjustable. Anchoring the bike are twin disc brakes upfront and a single disc at the rear. Its tire setup comprises 21-inch front and 18-inch rear spoked wheels wrapped in dual-purpose tires from.
